Submissions for the upcoming volume are due on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 by 11:59 pm
Applicants will be notified in January 2024
We invite faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students the opportunity to submit manuscripts related to the social sciences. Manuscripts are reviewed via a double-blind, peer-reviewed process.
Celebrating our 96th year, The Virginia Social Science Association (VSSA) is Virginia’s longest serving association of academics. As a multi-disciplinary organization, we welcome the full range of scholars and researchers from across all of the social sciences. Accordingly, we welcome panel and paper submissions from all social science disciplines and on any subject.
This is a tremendous opportunity for scholars and students whose work bridges the boundaries of disciplinary restrictions, who seek to test their findings among interdisciplinary peers, or who simply wish to test the waters of research as they enter the academic world. All manuscripts that broadly suggest “social science” are welcome.
